Jacob James Dupree, Sr. was given a military burial at Elmwood Cemetery in Detroit, MI on August 25th, 2011. He was buried by his family and friends.
Video: Kappa Alpha Psi Memorial Service
On Tuesday, August 23rd, 2011 The Seattle Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi held a special memorial service for Brother Jacob Dupree, Sr. Jacob’s grandson, David Dupree Harris is the Vice Polemarch of the Seattle Alumni Chapter. Jacob was initiated into Kappa Alpha Psi in Fall 1949 at Alabama State University (Beta Zeta Chapter). Jacob exhibited the Kappa’s motto, Achievement, and is now a part of Chapter Invisible.
